Western Seminary Graduation Banquet 2016

Join us as we kick off Commencement Weekend by celebrating the Western Seminary class of 2016 graduates! This annual dinner banquet is an opportunity to reflect upon the moments of gospel-centered transformation experienced by students at Western throughout their seminary journies.

The theme of our banquet is A Journey Continued: Alumni equipped for Gospel-Centered Ministry. We know that a student's spiritual and vocational journey does not end at commencement, but instead continues on as God leads alumni into various settings throughout our region, as pastors, educators, counselors, therapists, and more. The Graduation Banquet, in this light, does not serve to highlight a crossing of the finishline, but rather is intended to place a well-earned mile marker (a stone of remembrance, if you will) as one historic leg of the race is completed.

We welcome you to celebrate our student's acheivements with us, and to celebrate what God has done and will do through their lives and through their training.

Western Seminary is an accredited graduate school founded in 1927. It offers trustworthy and accessible training for gospel-centered transformation at both the graduate credit and personal enrichment levels for those currently serving, or aspiring to serve, in key ministry leadership roles. The Western system consists of four campuses (Portland, OR; San Jose and Sacramento, CA; and Online) and a teaching site (Seattle, WA) that together serve approximately 950 credit students annually.
